16 Days Kenya &Tanzania classic Motor Bike Safari

A truly unique safari through parts of East Africa showcasing several magnificent highlights, exploring the bush on trail bike the best way to experience East Africa. Ride through the amazing scenery, getting really close to unrivalled wildlife, and encountering the tribal people ‘face to face’. We ride in places well away from the safari crowds and we will take you to stunning spots that few visitors ever see. We also give you the chance to ride on varied and challenging trails though awesome scenery. You don’t have to be an off-road expert to join one of our tours as we adapt the pace, and select the route, to suit everyone in a group.

Nairobi Safari Park Hotel (HB)

Day 1: Those who will arrive early [morning flights 0600Hrs AM ] they will be received by our representative at the airport, transferred to hotel we will have a room /s for them to freshen up, have breakfast, briefing, handover bikes, some media then depart [0900Hrs AM] Those who will arrive late afternoon/evening flights at the airport they will be received by our representative, transferred to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Mt.Kenya Mt. Kenya Safari Club (FB)

Day 2: After breakfast briefing and motorcycle handover for those who arrived late the day before. Depart riding.
Route: Nairobi – Kiambu – Mangu –Ruiru - Thika (45 km) tarmac road [Little traffic]
This is a tarmac country road that passes through intensively cultivated Nairobi suburbs with coffee estates and flower farms [green houses] before joining the main highway to Thika at Ruiru.Note: The 14 falls are in Thika along the Chania River. It is a breath –taking spectacular series of water falls. Short excursions, photography and depart to Embu.
From 14 falls in Thika it is a tarmac county road that passes through expansive pineapples plantations just after Thika and scenic rice fields from Wamumu through Thiba, Mwea to Embu

Lake Nakuru Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB)

Day 3: An early breakfast then depart to Lake Nakuru N/P
Route: Mt Kenya – Nyahururu- Nakuru [No traffic]
From Nanyuki take the Ngobit road that passes Sweetwaters and Ol pejeta conservancies to join the tarmac road just before Nyahururu. The Ngobit road is a 40km well maintained gravel road with scenic views of Kenya’s northern frontier including the Laikipia plateau [Kenya’s most recent tourism destinations] nice place to take pictures. Proceed to Nyahururu at the mighty Thomson falls, short excursions while taking pictures at this massive falling water.
Lunch: at Thomson Falls lodge
Continue after lunch descending down the Rift Valleys Subukia escarpment[great views as the road snakes down to the valley floor] to arrive Lake Nakuru N/P [0200Hrs PM]
Leave the bikes and embark on an afternoon game drives at this park fame for it prolific birdlife including millions of flamingoes. Later check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight

Masai Mara G/Re Sarova Mara Game Lodge (FB)

Day 4: Early breakfast, then drive to the park gate while doing some game drives. Take you bikes and ride past Nakuru town up the western Rift valley escarpment to Mau summit. Scenic views of the valley floor, Lake Nakuru and the Aberdares ranges on the horizon
Proceed to the lush ever green expansive tea estates of Kericho with a short loop to the Tea Research Centre. Return to Kericho Tea hotel for a cup of tea. Continue past tea estates via Sotik, Kipkimowa to Ngorengore. From here the landscape changes into wheat and maize fields.
Move on to divert at Olulunga and on open savanna grassland to Ewaso Ngiro shopping centre where the tarmac ends. Ride across the Masai reserve with scattered wildlife seen grazing along to Sekenani gate. Leave the bikes and drive to the lodge for late lunch. After you refresh late afternoon game drives. Route: Nakuru – Njoro – Mau summit – Molo - Elburgon –– Kericho – Sotik – Kapkimowa - Ngorengore – Bomet - Ololunga - Ewaso Ngiro – Sekanani gate

Masai Mara G/Re Sarova Mara Game Lodge (FB)

Day 5: This is where you will enjoy the herd of animals and the amazing way they co-exist amongst each other. Get a closer look of the animal on the plains, with their endless vistas and enormous herds of grazing animals, look for the predators hidden in bushes or long grass i.e. lion, Cheetah and Leopard. There are hippos in the rivers and exotic birds everywhere. Great cultural immersion in this great game reserve declared a “world wonder” by UNESCO due to the great wildebeest migration spectacle in the Mara-Serengeti eco-system dinner and overnight.

Amboseli N/P Ol Tukai Lodge (FB)

Day 6: Depart to Amboseli N/P via Karen.
A short ride there after joining the highway. Stop at Mahi Mahiu at the base the eastern escarpment. Great views as you ride up the escarpment for another session of photography. Proceed to divert at Kangemi flyover to (Kikuyu) Dagoreti to Karen. Visit giraffe centre for an early lunch. Later proceed to Amboseli National Park riding along the Magadi road to divert at Kiserian to join the Great Trans Northern Africa to South Africa road at Isinya scenic endless savanna plains and all the way to Kajiado.
Divert to a gravel road riding past Mashuuru, Isara to join tarmac road (Emali-Loitokitok) and Masai homesteads and herds of cattle to Kelunyet park headquarters gate. Leave the bikes at the gates and drive in the park for game drives enroute to the lodge. Late afternoon game drives. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Route: Naivasha-Mai Mahiu – Uplands - Limuru to Karen (100 km) Tarmac road.

Entonet Village Mama Africa Eco-Tented Camp (FB)

Day 7. Early morning game drives breakfast drive across the scenic, vast and endless wilderness to the forest glades of Mt. Kilimanjaro via Kijiweni, Murtot, lolorashi to Mama Africa Eco-Tented Camp. Riding excursions to Ngaitole view point and back via Makutano shopping centre to Sonkoro border view point.Stop-over at view-points for photography. Proceed to Rongai, Olchoro,Loitokitok and back to Kelunyet gate. Leave your bikes and drive to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives.

Ngorongoro N/P Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (FB)

Day8: Early breakfast depart with some morning game drives Drive to Rongai border town after customs and immigration procedures drive to Arusha via Sangarini,Kamwanga,Murtot,Kijiweni,Lerangwa, Ol Molok, Ngare-Nairobi, Sanya Juu,Boma Ngo’mbe to arrive for lunch. Route: Amboseli NP – Loitokitok – Rongai – Kamwanga – Lerangwa – Ngare-Nairobi – Sanya Juu- Boma Ngo’mbe – Arusha Arumeru coffee lodge.(200km) Later head south, passing through the Masai Steppe with its many African villages. Divert at Makuyuni continue to Lake Manyara up the Great Rift Valley where you have fantastic views over the distant Lake Manyara. Proceed to Lodoare Gate where you leave the bikes and enter the park. Game drives as you drive to the lodge perched at the rim of the crater.

NgorongoroN/P Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (FB)

Day9.After breakfast descend to the crater floor for game drives. The crater “a world wonder “and an animal paradise with various wildlife & birdlife co-existing together. After extensive game drives return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon drive to Ol Duvai gorge for archaeological excursions, later continue with game drives along the crater rim.

Arusha – Moshi - Marangu Capricorn Hotel

Day 10. After breakfast drive to Moshi with a stop over at Arumeru coffee lodge for lunch.
Route: Lodoare Gate – Makuyuni – Arusha –– Arumeru coffee lodge (220km)
After lunch proceed to Moshi-Arusha road moving on further past Moshi town, Himo and up to Marangu. This Area is known for good quality Coffee there on the road side you will have good view of Coffee plantation in some sections and Banana Plantations.
Check in at Marangu Capricorn hotel perched in the green lush coffee and banana plantations. From here the Pare and Usambara mountains are seen rolling down to the coast.
Route: Arumeru River Lodge- Usa River- Moshi- Himo -Marangu- 132km of tarmac road.

Usambara Mountains Irente View Cliff Lodge (FB)

Day 11: Depart to Usambara Mountains after breakfast riding down past Himo town to divert at the main Dar es Salaam – Moshi road after 60km divert to Same town to take a good parallel road on the other side of the mountains to Ndungu and Mnazi. Stop over on the way for photography. Divert back to Mazinde and on to another diversion at Mombo to visit the Usambara section of the mountain . Proceed riding up the scenic mountain and also stop over on the way for photography. Lunch at Irente View Cliff Lodge. After lunch some loops to some attractions including Irente view point. Relax in the cliff later Dinner and over night in the lodge.
Route: Marangu – Himo –Same – Ndungu – Mnazi- Mazinde – Mombo – Lushoto – Irente View Cliff.

Usambara Mts – Tanga- Mombasa South Coast Leopard Beach Resort and Spa (HB)

Day 12: After early breakfast depart for some riding lopes across these mountains popularly known as “Africa Galapagos”. Proceed later to Tanga riding past the scenic coconut plantations to the coastal town of Tanga. The Usambara's are a part of the ancient Eastern Arc chain which mountains stretch in a broken crescent from the Taita hills in southern Kenya down to Morogoro and the southern highlands. They are estimated to be at least 100 million years old and the rocks forming them may be as much as 600 million years old stop over at Tanga for lunch. After lunch proceed to Mombasa south coast after riding past coastal forest and coconut plantations and villages to the Kenya/Tanzania border. After customs procedures proceed to Ukunda/Diani beach.

Tsavo East N/P Voi Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 15: Depart after breakfast to Tsavo East N/P via Shimba Hills N/P and Mwaluganje Elephant sanctuary. Proceed to arrive at Voi safari lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives at this Kenya’s largest N/P with huge population of Elephants. Route: Diani Beach - Kwale - Kinango - Mtaa - Mariakani - Mackinnon Road - Maungu - VoiSafari Lodge. Diani Beach – Mombasa– Mariakani (80km of Tarmac road) Mariakani – Mackinnon Road - Maungu – Voi (120km of tarmac road) Voi- Voi Safari Lodge (5km of gravel road)

Nairobi Panafric Hotel (HB)

Day 16: Depart to Nairobi is a hilly beautiful country with stunning valleys on the roadside.
We will have stop over on the road to take photographs. The Nairobi – Mombasa road has traffic therefore we recommend all the clients to drive as a team for safety purpose.

(345Km) Motorcycle handover and farewell dinner at Carnivore Restaurant transfer to the airport for departure.
