Missionary ToursKentan Safaris provides an opportunity for international Visitors and Christian volunteers to offer their skills to promote sustainable volunteer programs while in Kenya as they experience Village life and sharing the Love of Christ with the Locals.Building a bridge joining Christ’s followers in kenya with believers from around the world, in reaching individuals and communities with the love of God.Encouraging individuals and Christian groups from around the world to travel to Kenya and learn about the people, culture and environment of the regions through voluntary service and teach people about the Love of God. This program aims at recruiting volunteers who can share their skills in any part of Kenya within the villages with members of different local communities in a way that helps them achieve their own goals, without creating unhealthy dependencies or undermining the values of the local culture

Missionary Accommodation:

Kentan has made arrangements with a number of Christian guest houses in Nairobi and other parts of the country, to offer accommodation to its clients when they are within the country. Some of these Guest Houses are ; LMS Guest House, PCEA Guest House, Methodist Guest House, and Classic Guest House. This was intended to offer alcohol free areas, non-smoking zones and places without noise. In the various fields where guests go to work, we have additional arrangements with hotels all over the country that offer modern services meant for Christians. Special attention is given to our clients in all these areas. We also organize Home Stays on request of the Missionaries.

Missionary Transport:

The fleets of vans assigned for this job are fitted with Trucking System (GPRS), air conditioner systems, AC systems, CD and Tape Players solely playing gospel hits. The drivers under this department proclaim faith in Jesus Christ and are expected to help our clients in evangelism, teachings, alter-calls etc while in the field. They ensure that the comfort of the guests takes centre stage.

Short Term Mission Trip To Kenya

We organize on behalf of mission teams to be able to minister at a specially chosen church alongside Kenyans the week you're here in Kenya. Through this church you'll do your ministries & outreaches. By strengthening and working through the local church, your fruit will remain long after you're gone. This is our philosophy of Mission Tour Company that ensures maximum fruit and impact for the Gospel of Christ.
Logistics Provision in the following Areas:

Vision Trips

In order for you to get God’s vision for Kenya, the department of mission lead by the Operations Director will arrange and visit Areas of need on behalf of the volunteers. The purpose of a vision trip is not to build a building, to preach or to teach. The purpose is to see what God sees when He looks at His wonderful creation in Kenya. We believe through vision Trip, God will enlarge your vision, intensify your burden, focus your intercession and energize your action.

Work projects

This is a great time to serve by improving needy church facilities. By helping churches with their buildings, and by helping new churches in church planting, you're participating in true and lasting results for the people of Kenya.

Visitation/prayer ministry

We offer the rare treat of participating in a visitation/prayer ministry where you'll visit homes to get to know how the Kenyans live, see their culture up close, pray, minister and share the love of Christ with them.
Vacation bible school outreach
This is a hand on time of ministry with Kenyan children ranging in ages from 3-12. You'll play games, sing songs, do a puppet show, participate in a Bible Story, and do crafts & snacks.
It's a favorite for all. We provide the all the necessary materials you require in advance before you arrive in the country.

Sports Evangelism

Churches are trying to find ways of connecting with the unchurched in their communities, the fact that 96 percent of the population is linked to sports in some way is good reason to seriously consider the evangelism possibilities. We at Kentan Safaris in partnership with various churches has offered to organize for the logistics required to be able to organize youth groups, women groups and children involved in sporting activities to have a sports camp that intentionally targets lost people. Many have received Christ during such events and still encourage volunteers who would like to participate in such events in Kenya to contact us for logistics and any other requirements.

Orphanages

Most of the children in Kenyan Orphanages require a lot of love, support and attention that currently they do not receive due to a lack of staff. These orphanages are in great need of volunteer assistance.
It is extremely basic, lacking vital resources and needs your help in interacting with the children, whilst also providing stimulating and exciting games and education programmes for them. The children’s in most cases sleep at the orphanage and receive their education here, so volunteers must be prepared to help in whichever area is most in need at the time.
Here are some of the Activities a volunteer may be involved in:

Feeding the children
Getting them dressed or ready for bed each day
Playing games and having fun with the children
Teaching basic education to the younger children
Teaching English, Maths and Sciences to older children at the school
Teaching extra activities, such as sports or sexual education workshops
Providing lots of love and support to the orphans

The Community Outreach Project:

There may also be the opportunity for you to get involved in the local and long-established Kenya Outreach programme for vulnerable families. This project involves the provision of relief supplies such as food rations.

Because we live in Kenya and have a year around ministry to the pastors & churches in our region, we have a good pulse on the needs here. We also have many years of experience in working with short-term mission teams. We provide help and coordination with your Vacation Bible School, Work Projects, Outreaches, Evangelism, the meals and accommodation in both Hotels and sometimes organize for home stays, and more.

We coordinate everything before your arrival and take care of all the details for
your ministries. You'll arrive knowing everything has been coordinated ahead of time for your missionary trip.
We can customize your mission trip to fit your style and abilities.

We are flexible and can customize your schedule to accommodate you in almost any way you would like. A short term mission trip to Kenya can have an emphasis towards a church mission trip, Youth mission trip, High School, Jr. High, Teens, Students, College, medical or a Family mission trip. Also, your ministry focus in Kenya can be towards Vacation Bible School for children or a Youth Focus for teens. We do vision Trips on your behalf and advice accordingly as you plan to come.

We provide Swahili ,English or any other 42 languages in Kenya translators
Because we live here in Kenya, we all speak fluent Swahili and English plus any other 42 languages spoken within the 42 tribes of Kenya and can assist you if you lack translators.
