7 days Eco-Safari - Mama Africa Experience

A walking safari in scenic, breathtaking landscape of south eastern lowlands of Kenya under the shadows of Mt. Kilimanjaro forest glades, travel through agricultural areas perfectly designed for photographers, naturalists, birders, and eco-travelers

Arrive-Nairobi Giraffe Manor (HB)

Day 1. Upon arrival at the airport you will be received by our representative who will then transfer you to the hotel.

Entonet Village Mama Africa Eco-Tented Camp (FB)

Day 2.Transfer after breakfast to the airport for a flight to Amboseli N/P. Upon arrival you will be received by a driver /guide. Some mid-morning game drives as you head to the camp on the forest glades of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mama Africa Eco-Tented Camp to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon short excursions to Ngaitole view point and back via Makutano shopping centre and the Lutheran & Catholic churches. Stop-over at Lutheran hill view-point for photography. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day3.Wake early when the mountain is clear and drive to Sonkoro tank view point,great views of Mt.Kilimanjaro massiff ,Amboseli plains, Chyulu and Taita hills at the horizon. Return for breakfast. Later depart with picnic lunch towards west Kilimanjaro,breath-taking landscapes,agricultural activities and meeting with the local people. Have picnic lunch at Misigio with clear views of Kilimanjaro third largest crater Shira and the scenic Sinya desert next to Amboseli N/P. After lunch return to the camp driving along the border along the forest glades to Rongai. As the sun sets return to the camp having had one of the most unique eco-tours in East Africa.

Day 4.Early morning pictures before breakfast. Depart to Rongai Kenya /Tanzania border, after customs and immigration procedure enter Tanzania for a full day of driving/walking excursion in the forest glades. Great atmosphere and bi-diversity of flora and fauna. Picnic lunch at alava flow deposits from Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the border point afternoon re-enter Kenya and drive the village for cultural immersion among various tribes that inter-married with the maasai people. Return to the camp late evening for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli N/P Tortilis Tented Camp (FB)

Day 5 & 6.Depart after early breakfast to Amboseli N/P to enter the parkby mid-morning, game drives around the water springs from Mt. Kilimanjaro en route, check in at the camp for lunch. Afternoon game drives. The snows of the mountain forms a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Tortilis Camp is named after the local Acacia tortilis tree, and is situated just outside the Park in an area of unspoiled woodland, with the stunning backdrop of Africa's highest mountain omnipresent - Kilimanjaro!From the dressing area a door leads into the en-suite bathroom with a wonderful
high pressure shower, hot spring-fed water and a hush toilet.

Nairobi Departure

Day7. Dawn game drives return for breakfast. Later transfer to the airstrip fo a flight to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. Farewell dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant before been transferred to the airport for departure.
