4 Days Chimpanzee Safari in UgandaThis 3 day luxury safari starts and ends in Entebbe. This tour takes you through the beautiful evergreen Ngamba Island. Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is found 23 Kilometers off shore from Entebbe on Lake Victoria. It is located on a beautiful forested island and is home to approximately 40 chimpanzees rescued from poachers and other forms of private captivity. Arrive Kampala Protea Hotel (BB)Day 1. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in later get briefed about the tour. Entebbe - Ngamba Island Ngamba Island Camp (FB)Day 2. Our guide will meet you. Short briefing on your safari and then take a boat ride off from Entebbe to Ngamba Island. Depending on time of arrival, walk to the neighboring local communities and later go for chimpanzee viewing on Ngamba islands. Ngamba Island Forest Walk Ngamba Island Camp (FB) Day 3. After breakfast, for those with medical inoculations- have a forest walk through the forest. Have a wonderful adventure with the playful chimpanzees. These closest ancestors of man can climb on you, pull your hair, or just walk along holding your hand! Lunch. It’s really a fascinating experience!
