3 Days Safari Extension

Experience the challenge of golfing on a higher altitude. Kenya boasts some of the highest points and beautiful mountains in the world. After battling through the challenge, reward your efforts with a safari enjoy a game drive at the Masai Mara famous for its unparalleled wildlife.

The safari included flight Naivasha – Mara – Nairobi, park fees, 4x4WD game drives, full board accommodation, airport transfer and meet and greet and dinner at Pampa Churrsscaria.

Masai Mara G/Re Main Governors Camp (HB)

Day 1. After lunch at the Great Rift Valley Lodge, you will be transferred from the lodge to the airstrip at 1400 hours for your flight to Masai Mara departing at 1510. Please note that the maximum baggage allowance is 15 kgs. Your golf bags and some of your luggage will be brought back to Nairobi for safe keeping.

The flight takes about 40 minutes and, upon landing, you will be met by a Governors Camp representative and proceed for an afternoon game drive in the 4x4 wheel drive vehicles. Masai Mara is certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya.

Situated on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries and punctuated by marshes and forests. “Whether or not the Lions of Masai Mara are the finest in Africa – as is often stated – is an arguable matter.”

What can be said certainly however, is that Masai Mara supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere considering the size of its area. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to half a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebra who move into the area from neighbouring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at the Main Governors Camp.

Day 2. You can substitute the morning game drive with a balloon safari as an optional excursion (not included in safari cost). This unforgettable balloon flight takes off at 0630 hours and glides gently over the Mara plains giving you the “”birds eye” view. Upon landing you will have a champagne breakfast in the wild plains with chefs cooking over open burners. Return to the camp with a game drive enroute.

You will have an early morning game drive at 0630 hours. This is the best time to see animals as they feed, and if lucky you may catch a kill. Return to the camp for a full breakfast. Another mid morning game drive or take an optional nature walk, or just relax at the camp. You will have lunch at the camp. Relax till 1600 hours when you will go for another afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Main Governors Camp

Nairobi Windsor Golf & Country Club (HB)

Day 3. You will have an early morning game drive at 0630 hours in the camp’s vehicle. Return to the camp for breakfast. Another mid morning game drive from 1000 hours till lunchtime. You will have lunch at the camp and later transfer to the airstrip at 1600 hours for flight to Nairobi. Our representative will meet you with your luggage (golf bags) and take you to Havelli Restaurant for dinner. Later transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
