12 days Adamsons Footsteps Safari.

Meru N.P/ Shaba G.Re – Masai Mara G.Re. Walk in the footsteps of the Adamson’s, travel back in time and relive their adventures and encounter a magnificent assortment of wildlife. Be part of the legend, get drawn into a 9 night series of invigorating quests, be enlightened on the lives of the wild and build a foundation of memories to last a lifetime.

Arrive -Nairobi Giraffe House (BB).

Day 1. On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be received by a Kentan Safaris representative who will transfer you the Giraffe Manor. An elegant, personally hosted, small and exclusive hotel, famous for its resident herd of giraffe. The Giraffe Manor offers a rich blend of welcoming accommodation the only place in the world where you can enjoy the breathtaking experience of feeding and photographing the giraffe over the breakfast table and at the front door.

Meru N/P Elsa Kopje (FB).

Day2-4. After breakfast depart Nairobi driving through the heavily populated central Kenya, with coffee bushes, Tea and other crops to the Eastern slopes of Mt. Kenya that borders Meru N/P. Kenya’s best kept secret, the untamed wilderness of Meru National Park is best explored for its hidden jewel - Elsa's Kopje. Made famous by the film Born Free and George Adamson's Lions.
Elsa’s Kopje has 8 elegant open-plans 'rooms-with-a-view' plus a three tier Honeymoon Suite, and a Private House with a double and a twin room, a shared sitting room, verandah and a private swimming pool. All rooms are uniquely designed incorporating natural features of the rocky hillside. There is an open bar, sitting and dining room with an infinity pool. Activities include day & night game drives, guided bush walks, bush meals, cultural visits, sundowners, fishing and massage. This untamed wilderness is renowned for its rhino sightings and rare northern species.

Shaba G/Re Joy’s Luxury Tented Camp (FB).

Day 5-7. Depart to Shaba G/Re after breakfast driving past the slopes of Mt. Kenya to the dry northern frontier region of Kenya. Joy’s Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms raised off the ground with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and overlooking a large natural spring. Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. Activities include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro River, cultural visits and sundowners. The camp is ideal for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba.

Lake Nakuru N/P Flamingo Luxury Tented Camp (FB).

Day 8. After an early breakfast check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
Stopover at Thomson Falls, Nyahururu for viewing of the waterfalls and lunch. After lunch, proceed on to enter the park for afternoon game drives. The park is fame for its abundance of birdlife including millions of flamingoes, rhino and scenic landscape. You return to your camp late in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara G/Re Elephant Pepper Camp (FB).

Day 9-11. Depart to Masai Mara G/Re after breakfast; this is where you will enjoy the herd
of animals and the amazing way they co-exist amongst each other. Get here by lunch
time, after you refresh, have lunch relax as you wait to start the afternoon game drive. Elephant Pepper Camp is located on the Mara North Conservancy in the northern Masai Mara. Small and very exclusive the camp is located away from other lodges in the heart of the African bush. With just seven comfortably furnished, double en-suite tents and one honeymoon tent, Elephant Pepper Camp offers the ultimate luxury bush safari with the sights and sounds of nature and all the luxuries you need. Activities include day and night game drives, bush walks, bush meals and sundowners.

Nairobi Departure.

Day 12. Dawn game drives then return for breakfast. Check out and depart to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi in time for lunch, afternoon optional shopping and city tours. Later you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
