Daily departures from the airport to Samburu G/Re with an option of extension to Shaba G/Re and Buffalow Springs G/Re and fly back to Mombasa north beach. Samburu G/Re Samburu Simba lodge (FB).Day 1.Early breakfast where you will be picked from your resort to Moi international Airport for a flight to Samburu G/Re. Upon arrival you will be received by our driver guide to start game drives as you head to the lodge. The park is famous for the Samburu semi nomadic tribesmen unique wildlife species from all other parks like reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s zebra, gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of the big game including the elephant and Africa's big cats-leopard, cheetah and the lion. Drive to check in at the lodge for lunch. Afternoon cultural immersion and visiting Samburu homesteads usually the Samburu live in small settlements (nkang) of 1-3 families. Each of these families may be composed of a man and two or more wives, since Samburu practice polygynous marriage. Settlements may sometimes be larger, particularly the lorrora, a settlement of 50 or more families coming together for the ritual initiation of a new age set. Shaba Game Reserve has a number of unique species only found in this area and offers you a variety of memorable experiences, from walking and camel safaris, animal-filled game drives. The reserve forms a trio of unusual and attractive game sanctuaries very different from others in Kenya. Shaba National Reserve has a particular place in the history of Kenya game conservation for it was in this reserve that the authoress, Joy Adamson, died, her trilogy of books on the rehabilitation of the compliant leopard to a wild environment remained unfinished. Shaba was one of Joy Adamson's greatest African loves; it was in this tranquil wilderness where she released the first hand-raised leopards Shaba took its name from the Mount Shaba (1525 meters), a volcanic mountain that became extinct around 5,000 years ago. Mount Shaba lies on the border of the reserve. Shaba G/Re-Mombasa-Diani Beach.Day3. After dawn game drives return for breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Mombasa north coast. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your beach resort.
