Several million hooves kick up the dust as they move through the Serengeti plains in a search for green pastures. Some two million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle traveling a year-long route in a snorting, dust-raising column that can stretch for 40km - it's the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration, one of Nature's greatest shows. Predators follow the Wildebeest Migration closely, waiting for an opportunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different territories. Arrive -Nairobi Heron Hotel (BB) Day 1. Arrive this morning or in the evening in the city of Nairobi and transfer to the Masai Mara G/Re Fly Camp (FB)Day 2. Depart to Masai Mara G/Re after breakfast to arrive early afternoon. Early lunch and spent the whole afternoon in game drives. From July to October, the grazing animals take a four-month-long trek towards the Mara River. In desperate need of water to drink and grass to graze, the countless herds need to cross the river to reach the lush, green grasslands in Maasai Mara. The world's most spectacular sights truly happen at the mass crossing of the swollen Mara River. Masai Mara G/Re Fly Camp (FB)Day 3 &4. Dawn game drives when some of the cats are still active or enjoying their kill. At mid-morning return to the camp for a late breakfast. This is where you will enjoy the herd of animals and the amazing way they co-exist amongst each other. Get a closer look of the animal on the plains, with their endless vistas and enormous herds of grazing animals, look for the predators hidden in bushes or long grass i.e. lion, Cheetah and Leopard. There are hippos in the rivers and exotic birds everywhere option of visiting one of the Masai cultural homesteads. Dinner and overnight. Lake Nakuru N/P Fly Camp (FB) Day5. After an early breakfast check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Stopover Aberdare Mts. N/P Treetops Hotel (FB)Day6.After breakfast depart to Aberdares N/P. The park is the ideal place to admire the various shades of wildlife. The breathtaking sights of rare bango antelope along with several other species will remain fresh in mind for years to come. Arrive in time for lunch at Outspan base hotel for Treetops hotel, short excursions around the hotel fame for Lord Baden Powell, founder of Scout Movement where he spent the last three years of his life in a cottage called Paxtu. He was buried at the hotel compound. Afterwards you will be transferred to the Treetops hotel where you are sure to see elephants, buffalos and some other animals at the floodlit waterholes a very close range. Dinner and overnight. Amboseli N/P Fly Camp (FB)Day7. Depart after early breakfast to Amboseli N/P at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest with a stop over in Nairobi for early lunch. Proceed to enter the park by early afternoon. Game drives en route, check in at the camp for dinner and overnight. Amboseli N/P Fly Camp (FB)Day8. Dawn game drives before breakfast. The snows of the mountain forms a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise.
