The lion population has declined by 30%-50% in just over the past two decades, a reduction largely due to habitat loss and conflict with humans

Tsavo East N/P Fly Camp (FB)

Day 1. Upon arrival Mombasa / Nairobi you will be received by KENTAN Safaris representative. Depart to Tsavo East N/P with savannah grassland thorny bushes, swampy marshland unique landscape because of the Yatta Plateau formed from the lava that oozed from Ol Doinyo Sabuk Mountain. A variety of animals can be seen: lions, leopard, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, serval, antelopes, kongoni, lesser kudu, oryx, klipspringer, impala, stripped hyena, ostriches, gazelles, buffalos, elephants and many more. Lugard Falls gush through a small fissure, narrow enough for the foolhardy to leap across, before dropping to Crocodile Point below, where the river changes its name to the Galana.

Amboseli N/P Fly Camp (FB)

Day2. Depart after early breakfast to Amboseli N/P at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain via Tsavo west N/P, game drives en-route to arrive in time for lunch. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, coupled with the variety of game to be found, draws the visitors in. The park borders with Tanzania, is most famed for its' large herds of elephants. A combination of drought, increased tourism, and over-grazing has had a hard-hitting effect on the western side of the park, the land has become dry, dusty and barren and the animals that were once there have moved into areas of shrub forest , marshland and hence increasing conflicts with pastrolist and big cats.

Amboseli N/P Fly Camp (FB)

Day3. Dawn game drives before breakfast. The snows of the mountain forms a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Shaba G/Re Fly Camp (FB)

Day4. Depart after breakfast to Shaba G/Re with a stop over in central Kenya (Karatina) for lunch. Proceed to arrive early afternoon at the camp. The camp is built near the site of Joy Adamson’s tented home in Shaba National Reserve, made famous by Elsa the lioness. Shaba is a perfect location for discerning guests interested in an authentic wildlife experience, away from the crowds. Joy Adamson produced the film "Born Free" after a lifetime with lions right here at Shaba G/Re.

Shaba G/Re Fly Camp (FB)

Day5. Depart after breakfast and transfer to Shaba G/Re to Samburu G/Re to arrive by mid-morning at your camp overlooking the river. The camp is located above the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, in the arid heart of Samburu land, a tranquil setting that offers views towards the Laikipia plateau and Mount Kenya. After lunch, relax and then take an afternoon game drive to track the resident 'community lions'. Overnight Camp.

Lake Nakuru N/P Fly Camp (FB)

Day 6. After an early breakfast check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Stopover at ThomsonFalls, Nyahururu for viewing of the waterfall. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. After lunch, proceed on an afternoon game drive in the park fame for its abundance of birdlife including millions of flamingoes, rhino and scenic landscape. You return to your lodge late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at camp under the shadows of acacia trees.

Masai Mara G/Re Fly Camp (FB)

Day 7. Depart to Masai Mara G/Re after breakfast, this is where you will enjoy the herd of animals and the amazing way they co-exist amongst each other. Get here by lunch time, after you refresh, have lunch relax as you wait to start the afternoon game drive. Get a closer look of the animal on the plains, with their endless vistas and enormous herds of grazing animals, look for the predators hidden in bushes or long grass i.e. lion, Cheetah and Leopard. There are hippos in the rivers and exotic birds everywhere. Dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara G/Re Fly Camp (FB)

Day8. Optional early morning balloon safari and bush breakfast. Have full day game drive and cultural immersion in this great game reserve declared a “world wonder” by UNESCO due to the great wildebeest migration spectacle in the Mara-Serengeti eco-system

Nairobi Departure

Day 9. Depart to Nairobi after morning game drives. Arrive Nairobi in time for lunch, afternoon optional shopping and city tours.
