6 Days Wildlife Safari & Gorillas TrackingThis safari will take you through Kibale Forest with its thirteen species of primate including the chimpanzee, Queen Elizabeth national park which is an ideal place for game viewing and Bwindi a wonderland for the endangered mountain gorillas. an opportunity to track the noisy chimpanzee families racing through this verdant forest, as well as a thrilling experience of tracking the few remaining 700 mountain gorillas surviving in the world. Arrive Kampala Hotel Triangle (BB)Day 1. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in later get briefed about the tour. Transfer to Kibale NP. Primates lodge (FB)Day 2. Drive to fort portal in the morning to reach the town in 5 to 6 hours time. You will reach in time for lunch to have lunch and then go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary. The area is known to be a home to a number of unique creatures to include flora and fauna. Chimpanzee tracking - Queen Elizabeth N/ Park Mweya safari lodge (FB)Day 3. Transfer to the park headquarters in Kanyankyu for briefing before you head through the forest in search for chimps. You will be grouped in groups of six and then walk through the forest with a guide who will be informative providing you information about both plant and animals. Feel free to ask any questions. You will then meet these relatives of man the chimpanzees to spend one hour with them and then later walk back to the headquarters. You then go have lunch to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. The drive will take you about 3 to 4 hours reaching the park in the evening. Game drive / Boat Trip. Mweya safari lodge (FB)Day 4. On this day very early in the morning before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the park. you will later retune to the lodge for breakfast. You may also visit the slat mines. Later in the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel; the channel that connects Lake Edward and George. Drive to Bwindi Buhoma homestead (FB)Day5. Have a game drive enroute in the Ishasha sector while you transfer to Bwindi the home of the gorillas. You will reach the park in the evening. This evening you may go for a community walk around the area. Overnight Buhoma homestead. Trekking Uganda Gorillas Buhoma homestead (FB)Day 6. Carry packed lunch to head through the forest in search of these great apes. The search might take you about 2 to 9 hours before you encounter the Uganda gorillas. On meeting them you will spend one precious hour with them watching them feed, play, and care for their young ones. Later on you will return to your lodge. Drive to Kampala.Day 7. Return to Kampala stopping at the equator for photographs, to reach in the evening. |
