Arrive Kampala Hotel Africana (BB)

Day 1. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in later get briefed about the tour.

Kampala to Western Uganda Buhoma community Bandas (FB)

Day 2. Leave Kampala early in the morning with your professional driver guide and cruise through magnificent countryside and tropical bamboo forest on our way to southwestern Uganda which is approximately a 9 hour drive. There will be informative stops along your way ; at the equator and for a delicious lunch in Mbarara at the Agip Hotel. Continue your drive through timeless stunning volcanic landscape adorned with steep sided hills covered from top to bottom in neatly terraced tea and banana plantations.

Day3. After a refreshing hearty breakfast , you will be led by your guide to the starting point in the gorilla park for briefing. Experienced guides and trained rangers in the gorilla park will trek with you deep into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes in search of the prize in this expedition, the Mountain gorillas ! Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to approximately half of the World's population of mountain gorillas, the worlds most endangered ape. One of Africa's major highlights , and the pearl of Africa's prime tourist attraction. Bwindi is now listed as a world heritage site. A close encounter with these gentle apes is a memory that is definitely not easily forgotten by many travelers and adventure seekers.

Day 4. Today you will get to hike one of three volcanoes in the area : Mt. Muhavura, Mt. Gahinga or Mt. Sabinyo. All these mountains offer incredible scenery, immense biodiversity, and breathtaking views though due to popularity , most tourists tend to pick hiking to Muhavura mountains . This area bordering Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo is a nature lover's paradise!

Depart for Kampala Departure

Day 5. Have an early morning breakfast and start your drive from Kisoro to Kampala . On your way you may stop via the Masaka town and take a brief educational tour at the Mpambire drum village. Get to see the Ugandan crafts men at work. Arrive Kampala in the evening and that marks the end of your trip.
