12 Days Private Family Safari

Nairobi/Arusha/ Loliondo G.Re/ Serengeti N.P,/Ngorongoro N.P and Zanzibar Island. If you are a family that prefers being out there on your own, or perhaps are planning to travel with another family, then the best possible safari you can have is a private wilderness mobile camp. This is a small highly authentic safari camp, a perfect mix of comfort and excitement - the sort of thing Hemingway would have used - and you can arrange pretty much every aspect of the safari entirely to suit yourselves, whether that be different activities every day, particular meal schedules, the occasional picnic or sundowner, football matches with the camp crew or whatever takes your fancy.

Arrive- Arusha Snow Crest Hotel (HB)

Day1.You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by your driver/guide and our representative. You will then transfer to the mountain resort – a stunning and innovatively designed lodge both the looming Mount Kilimanjaro and the dramatic peaks of Mount Meru are visible in the distance. Depending on your arrival schedule you will have time to relax and enjoy your dinner in beautiful surroundings.

Loliondo Game Reserve Nduara Loliondo (FB)

Day2 &3. After your breakfast drive to Serengeti past the vast Masai plains, Rift Valley escarpment and Ngorongoro crater. Upon arrival you will be received by your resident naturalist who will introduce you to the camp. Designed to celebrate Nomadic cultures around the world, the Mongolian Gers, and our own Maasai bomas. The outcome of this heady mix of culture, style, comfort and wilderness is the most amazing camp you will ever see. Nduara Loliondo moves its yurts across the Loliondo area, part of the great Serengeti eco-system, bordering the Serengeti National Park proper. Being outside of the park boundaries offers great freedom; simple things like walking safaris, and night drives mean an altogether more intense and real feeling of safari, and wilderness.

Serengeti N/P Olakira Camp (FB)

Day6 &7. Dawn game drives before breakfast, depart to Serengeti Olakira camp. The Serengeti hosts the largest concentration of wildlife in the world, and is home to one of the great wonders in the world, the Great Migration. Over a million wildebeest and some 600,000 zebra move through the eco-system, with lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, wild dog and crocodile making sure only the strongest survive. Olakira Camp is a mobile tented camp that moves through the southern and central Serengeti, in areas of great wildlife concentration. From December to March, the camp is in the southern Serengeti, or Ndutu area. Here are the famous Serengeti plains - endless grasslands where lion and cheetah find perfect hunting grounds. A stay in Olakira Camp is not about 5 star luxury though. It's about something more than that. Being in the middle of this wonderful spectacle, with wild animals roaming around camp at night, is a dream come true to even the most experienced of travelers.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area The Manor at Ngorongoro (FB)

Day4 &5. Dawn game drives before breakfast, depart to The Manor at Ngorongoro a reminiscent of an elegant, up country farm home in the Cape Dutch style of architecture. A luxury safari experience fusing East African safari hospitality with old world Afro-European architecture, and decor. Surrounded by fragrant flowering gardens and age-old trees, the cottages all with open fires places incorporate all the flavors and romanticism of Africa commanding breathtaking views of the landscapes. Descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive after lunch often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for the dense population of animals which inhabit it. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. Return to the house late afternoon,careful positioning of the guest cottages ensures that every guest experiences the natural beauty of the estate as well as the privacy and intimacy characteristic of an old world manor home.

Serengeti –Kilimanjaro-Zanzibar Tembo House Hotel (HB)

Day8 -11. Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and drive to Arusha for an early lunch. Later you will connect another flight to Zanzibar where also upon arrival you will be received and transferred to your resort. Situated in the heart of Stone Town of Zanzibar at the picturesque seafront, Tembo house is magnificent building. Which has functioned in many ways over the past years? As American Consulate in 1834) in 1884 it become the premises of Cowasjee Dinshaw and Partners which was the famous Trading Companies in the western Indian Ocean in those years. That name is tilled seen on the of the main entrance of the hotel.The Tembo has many Interesting historical neighbors just next door is the former British Consulate where Dr. Livingstone's body was brought in 1874 during the epic journey from deapest Africa back to England. In 1930 Mahatma Gandhi left South Africa 1930 and came to Zanzibar and stay in this Building with Cowajee Dinshaw Brother for few weeks.
