10 Days Tanzania Under Canvas Camping Safari.

Nairobi/Arusha /West Kilimanjaro/ Lake Manyara N/P/ Serengeti N/P/ Ngorongoro N.P and Tarangire N.P. There is no better way than a camping safari to truly experience the African Bush. After the excitement of game viewing all day, you return to your campsite where another adventure begins. It may be gazelles making their way to a favorite watering hole or curious baboons wanting to inspect your tent while all around you the sky is emblazoned with the brilliant colors that make East African sunsets famous. As night falls, the heavens come alive with millions of stars that seem so close, you could almost pluck them from the skies. While you drift off to sleep, you can hear lions roar and an impala calling for a mate as strange shadows fall across the canvas of your tent.

Nairobi/Arusha Arusha Camp (FB).

Day1. Upon arrival at the airport you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

West Kilimanjaro Kambi Ya Tembo Tented Camp (FB).

Day2 & 3. After breakfast depart to the least visited but scenic landscape, cultural immersions and wildlife experiences in an area not crowded with tourist. Facing the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro and the endless African savannah, Kambi ya Tembo offers fantastic views. The camp consists of 20 tents each with private en suite bathroom facilities. You can sit and watch the natural world pass by from the ample sun decks.

The semi-arid land of Sinya and Elerai has an abundance of natural riches and is home to some of the largest elephants in East Africa. It offers spectacular landscapes with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, Ol Doinyo Longido and Ol Doinyo Orok. A unique nature and cultural experience.One of the few areas in Africa where huge Elephant Bulls, more than 50 years old, carrying tusks of considerable size, are regularly seen. These bulls, some of them living permanently in the zone, together with herds of mothers and calves use to migrate between the swamps of Amboseli National Park and the Acacia woodlands of the other side of the border in search of water and food.

Lake Manyara N/P Twiga lodge & Campsite (FB).

Day 4. Depart in the morning for Lake Manyara arriving mid-morning game drive inside the park to search for wild game, the park is home to plenty of game and birdlife. Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingoes. This beautiful park is at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and comprises of forest, woodland, grasslands, and swamps. Gazelles, impala, buffalo, wildebeest, the famous tree climbing lion, hyena, baboon, giraffe, hippopotamus, and a great number of smaller mammals,350 species of bird, storks and flamingoes. The park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of scenic beauty Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Serengeti N/P Swala Camp (FB).

Day 5. Depart after breakfast and take picnic lunch with you as you proceed for Serengeti with a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge the Historical Site, Picnic lunch and proceed arriving in western Serengeti for late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6. Full day in Serengeti with early morning and late afternoon game drives in the vast Serengeti plain. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Maasai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. Dinner and overnight

Ngorongoro Crater N/P Simba Camp (FB).

Day 7. Depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast game drives en route to arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After lunch descend to the crater floor for game drives at this animal paradise a world wonder. Various animals co-exist inside this broken caldera which also has distinct vegetation zones. Return late afternoon to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire N/P Tarangire Camp(FB).

Day 8 & 9. After breakfast depart to Tarangire N/P Tarangire lies to the south of the large open grass plains of southern Maasailand and is the best-kept secret on the northern safari circuit. Wonderful panoramas of wide savannah grasslands dotted with open acacia woodland studded with large Baobab trees. The density of game is second only to the crowded Ngorongoro Crater ,Tarangire is a dry season refuge for many migratory animals (elephants, wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, eland and buffalo), that spend many months of the year outside the park on traditional grazing corridors linking Tarangire with other protected areas.

Arusha /Nairobi Departure.

Day 10. Early game drives return for breakfast, check out and depart to Arusha for lunch. Later you will continue with your onward tour.
