The Itinerary

Arrive -Nairobi                                New Stanley Hotel (BB).

Day 1. Arrive this morning or in the evening at the airport where you will be received by a Kentan Safaris representative. Later you will be transferred to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Samburu G/Re                               Sarova Shaba Lodge (FB).

Day 2. Depart to Samburu G/Re after breakfast with a stop over at the equator crossing. The park is famous for the Samburu semi nomadic tribesmen. Arrive and check in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives around the park which has unique wildlife species from all other parks like reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s zebra, gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of the big game including the elephant and Africa's big cats-leopard, cheetah and the lion. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Samburu G/Re                               Sarova Shaba Lodge (FB).

Day 3. Full day of cultural immersion and walking, usually the Samburu live in small settlements (nkang) of 1-3 families. Each of these families may be composed of a man and two or more wives, since Samburu practice polygynous marriage. Settlements may sometimes be larger, particularly the lorrora, a settlement of 50 or more families coming together for the ritual initiation of a new age set. Married men (Lpayen) are figures of authority in Samburu culture distinguished between junior elders, firestick elders (lpiroi), senior elders, retired elders. An age set moves together through these stages. Women usually marry between the ages of 15 and 17--often to men 10-40 years their senior. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon extensive visits and cultural dance at age 15-20 young men are initiated into an age set. This group forms a man's peer group for his entire life. Group moves together through distinctive age grades including while warriors, lmurran, (ages approx. 15-30) may not marry or eat food seen by women (except milk and blood) and are distinguished by their braided hair style. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru N/P                            Sarova Lion Hill Lodge FB).

Day 4. After an early breakfast check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop-over at Thomson Falls, Nyahururu for viewing of the waterfall. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, proceed on an afternoon game drive in the park fame for its abundance of birdlife including millions of flamingoes, rhino and scenic landscape. You return to your lodge late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at luxury lodge.

Masai Mara G/Re                            Sarova Mara Game Lodge (FB).

Day 5. Depart to Masai Mara G/Re after breakfast, this is where you will enjoy the herd of animals and the amazing way they co-exist amongst each other. Get here by lunch time, after you refresh, have lunch relax as you wait to start the afternoon game drive. Get a closer look of the animal on the plains, with their endless vistas and enormous herds of grazing animals, look for the predators hidden in bushes or long grass i.e. lion, Cheetah and Leopard. There are hippos in the rivers and exotic birds
everywhere. Dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara G/Re                             Sarova Mara Game Lodge (FB).

Day6. Optional early morning balloon safari and bush breakfast. Have full day game drive and cultural immersion in this great game reserve declared a “world wonder” by UNESCO due to the great wildebeest migration spectacle in the Mara-Serengeti eco-system

Amboseli N/P                                   Ol Tukai Lodge (FB).

Day7. Depart after early breakfast to Amboseli N/P at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain with a stop over for lunch in Nairobi. Later proceed to enter the park in the afternoon. Game drives en route around the water springs from Mt. Kilimanjaro. The snows of the mountain forms a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary         Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge (FB).

Day 8. Dawn game drives before breakfast. Depart to Taita hills sanctuary via Tsavo West N.P. Tsavo west. An international wildlife and environmental treasure chest that contains a variety of habitat, geological soil types, animals, birds and plants. Arrive in time for lunch, Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a success story in sustainable conservation where wildlife - including elephant, lion, buffalo and giraffe - thrive. Game drives are tightly controlled to ensure that animals are not harassed and some areas are completely closed to vehicles. This commitment to responsible ecotourism, which has been so well supported by visitors, ensures that the Sanctuary and all its wildlife will continue to prosper.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary          Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge (FB).

Day 9. Full day of game drives and relaxation. The Sanctuary provides a safe environment to over 50 species of mammals and 300 species of birds within 28,000 acres of rolling savanna and woodland habitats. Large numbers of wildlife come to drink at the waterholes, so Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge provides a rare opportunity to view animals at close proximity in their natural habitat. The lobby, restaurant and terraced bar all provide excellent views and photographic opportunities, while an underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows provides unbelievably close yet safe access to a variety of wildlife as they drink. The waterholes are illuminated by powerful floodlights as it gets dark, to make sure that you witness all the activity throughout the night.

Mombasa               Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa (HB).

Day 10-14. Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa enjoys prime position on one of the world's most stunning beaches. Tropical gardens drop onto the white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean below where waters are calm due to the coral barrier reef – a haven for divers. The resort offers a wide range of high quality accommodation, a choice of dining and entertainment venues. For the active, two floodlit tennis courts, and a full-time ‘Animation Team' organizing volleyball, water polo, table tennis, gymnastics and aerobics, in-house diving school a PADI Center which offers a range of courses for adults and children as well as a host of water sports, including: windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking, pedelos and snorkeling; not to mention big game fishing beyond the reef and glass-bottom boats trips. Mombasa -Nairobi                        Departure.

Day 15. Check out by mid-morning depending and transfer to the airport for a flight to Nairobi, Nairobi city tours, shopping and any other personal activity. Farewell dinner at Carnivore Restaurant later transfer to the airport for departure.
